Sauna and the sea — simple but unforgettable
Stepping into the sea after a sauna — that's only possible where the sauna is close enough to the water. At Captain's Harbor in Salacgrīva, it is. Flower cottages with sauna are located next to the marina, while Deluxe cottages are 100 meters from the Baltic Sea.
In total, Captain's Harbor has 7 cottages with private sauna: 5 Flower cottages and 2 Deluxe cottages. Each sauna belongs only to your cottage — no sharing, no scheduling, no time limits.
Two types of sauna cottages
The sauna cottages differ by location and capacity:
- 5 Flower cottages — electric sauna, 4 guests, next to marina, 400m from sea
- 2 Deluxe cottages — sauna, up to 6 guests, 100m from sea
- Full kitchen with fridge, electric kettle and utensils
- Separate bedroom with double bed
- Terrace with table, chairs and grill
- Shower and toilet in each cottage
Who is it for?
Sauna cottages are popular for couple getaways and friend groups. Small work teams often choose them too — spend the day at a seminar in the banquet hall, continue the evening in the sauna.
Salacgrīva is 100 km from Riga via the A1 highway and 180 km from Tallinn. The drive takes about an hour.
